Hello Wolverines!

My name is Melanie Andrade and I'm excited for my first year with Simon Middle School! I have been a registered nurse for 5.5 years with a background in women and neonatal health. I live in Kyle with my husband and young child. In my free time I love to read, garden, and of course spend time with my family.

I look forward to a wonderful year and thank you for the opportunity to care for your children.

Please do not send medication into the students’ pockets or belongings for them to take later (this includes prescription and over the counter medications, even cough drops). Medications must be kept in the nurse's office per district policy.  Students may self carry inhalers and Epipens with a parent and doctor permission.  If a student requires medication at school, please have a medical authorization form completed and signed by parents and a physician.
