Welcome to Sunfield!

I am honored and excited to begin my first year as the proud principal of Sunfield Elementary! After serving as the assistant principal last year, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving this incredible school community in a new role. I look forward to building strong relationships with our students, staff, and families as we work together to make this an outstanding school year.

Throughout my career in education, I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of roles, including elementary classroom teacher, instructional specialist, behavior interventionist, assistant principal, and now principal. Each experience has strengthened my passion for helping students succeed and supporting teachers in creating meaningful learning experiences. I earned my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and my master's degree in Educational Administration from Sam Houston State University.

At Sunfield Elementary, we are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where every child feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential. As a proud Leader in Me campus, we believe every student has the ability to lead. Through the 7 Habits, we empower students to build confidence, develop strong character, set meaningful goals, and become responsible leaders both in and out of the classroom. Our dedicated staff works collaboratively to provide high-quality instruction while fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and continuous growth.

We know that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. We encourage our families to stay connected, get involved, and be active partners in their child's educational journey. Together, we will create opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and thrive.

I am excited for all that lies ahead and look forward to an amazing year at Sunfield Elementary. Together, we will continue building a school where every student is known, challenged, encouraged, and empowered to lead.
