Full All-Clear Given for Lehman HS

Dear Lehman Family,

We have the full all-clear now from Lehman High School. Walkers and car riders are being released as soon as all law enforcement vehicles have made it out of the parking lot. Bus release will follow right behind that.

This afternoon, it was reported by a student or students that another student may have had a gun. That was investigated and determined to not be the case. Additionally, no weapon was found on campus. It was a matter of a mistaken object. We appreciated that students immediately reported their safety concerns so that we could take swift action. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Additionally, we are continuously grateful for our strong partnership with local law enforcement who always respond immediately to aid us in times of need.

Dear LHS Family,

LHS has been cleared from any potential danger. The lockdown will be cleared according to protocol, which requires a room-by-room release process, which is currently underway.

LHS in Precautionary Lockdown

Dear LHS Parents, Students, and Staff,

The campus has been placed in a precautionary lock down because it was reported that someone on campus may have a weapon. This information is not confirmed and may also not be the case. Out of an abundance of caution and to conduct an immediate search, the campus went in lockdown. At present, everyone is safe.

To come out of lockdown, the campus will follow standard protocols, which means classes will be returned to normal (classroom by classroom) once the campus has an all-clear on the situation. This will likely delay dismissal this afternoon. If you can avoid the area, please do so.
