As our district continues to explore innovative learning opportunities to support the diverse needs of our students and families, we are considering developing a Virtual Academy learning program.
This program would provide students with a flexible, high-quality online learning option while maintaining our district’s support and standards. At this time, we are gathering feedback from families to better understand the level of interest, the needs of students, and the features parents would value most in a virtual or hybrid learning environment.
A virtual option would follow an asynchronous learning model. A hybrid learning model could include participation in fine arts, athletics, and career & technical education (CTE), while also completing coursework online.
Your input is extremely important as we evaluate whether a Virtual Academy would be beneficial for our community. Please take a few moments to complete the survey (attached & linked below).
