Congratulations to two Hays CISD Board members! On Monday, the Honorable Mark Jones (left) ceremoniously swore-in Trustee Esperanza Orosco (center) for her fourth term on the Board and Board President Byron Severance (at right) for his second term on the Board. Both Orosco and Severance were unopposed in their 2025 elections. Additionally, as required by law, the Board reorganized its officers Monday following canvassing of the 2025 election. For the 2025-2026 school year, Byron Severance (center in the photo of the three officers) will serve as the Board president. Johnny Flores (at left) will serve as vice president, and Geoff Seibel (at right) will serve as secretary.
