    Applications for free or reduced price meals will be mailed out to all families each year. A self-addressed, stamped envelope will be provided for the return of the application form.     On April 18, Hays CISD Transportation will migrate to the new SMARTtag Parent App. The new mobile Parent App is replacing the Parent Portal (web access). The Parent App is available for Android and iOS.     Hays CISD Summer Gifted and Talented Referral Period Opens for Kindergarten - 11th Grade Students 

    Students who participate in services designed for gifted/talented students will demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication.  These skills are often evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity.  Furthermore, these skills are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience, or environment. Click “Read More” for the rest of the story including links for online referral.
