Food deliveries from any delivery service are prohibited on campus. We can only accept food from parents/family members for their student only. Parents are not allowed to bring food for other students.

Please take a moment to review our policy for students riding home on a bus with another student:

    • A note is needed from both parties; the student that is going home with a friend AND a note from the friend's parent.
    • Both notes must have a parent signature and a phone number.
    • The campus will contact both parties for verification. Notes can be provided ahead of time for verification.
    • Students will not be allowed to go home with their friend on the bus if we have not had verbal confirmation from both parties.

If you are unable to receive phone calls at work, please email Beatrice.Garcia@hayscisd.net (front office receptionist) and/or myself James.Cruz@hayscisd.net. You can also text me at 512-698-7007.

I appreciate everyone’s understanding with this policy. Please let me know if you have any questions, I will be happy to assist you.

  • Hays CISD Gifted & Talented Referral Period Opens 11-02-20

Hays CISD Gifted and Talented Referral PerStudents who participate in services designed for gifted/talented students will demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication. These skills are often evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity. Furthermore, these skills are advanced in relation to students of similar age, experience, or environment. Hays CISD campuses will accept referrals for gifted and talented services from November 2-30, 2020. Referrals can be made in two different ways. The first option is to complete an online referral. The second option is to complete a paper referral. Copies of the paper referral form are available in the front office of each campus and should be returned to the campus counselor.
