Kyle Elementary kindergarten teacher Ms. Edwards taught her class about phonics this week, but not before the class worked out their wiggles — an exercise that Ms. Edwards likes to use to get the body circulating as well as the mind. After the wiggles were worked out, the discussion turned to phonics, recognizing similar sounds in words and trying to come up with sets of rhyming words. Who says phonics can’t be a lot of fun?
