Panthers Jump (rope) for Joy with Coach Cat

The next stop in our Oct. 29 tour of Kyle Elementary quite literally had us jumping for joy! In this stop, we joined PE Coach Carolyn Ramirez-Jobson, also known as Coach Cat, who was helping a group of kindergarten students learn one of the staples of playground life – skipping rope. Students leapt around as they worked hard to time their jumps with the swing of the rope. Following a handful of jump rope based games, the group went back inside the Kyle Elementary gym to play a version of Simon Says, led by Coach Cat and PE Assistant Howie Boutillier.
