  • CANCELED - Flu Vaccines at BMS - October 24

    Registration is now open our in school flu vaccine clinic. Healthy Schools will be administering flu vaccines on October 24 during school hours. It is free for everyone regardless of insurance status.   • School Supply Lists 2019-2020

    Hays CISD does not provide a standardized school supply list for middle school and high school students. Individual classroom teachers will communicate the supplies needed for each specific class. In order to be prepared for the first day of school we encourage students to come to school with their basic school supplies (pencil, pen, paper, etc.).

  • Bobcats score 1st place in the Great Reading Games!

    A team of Bobcat Readers participated in The Great Reading Games reading competition and earned 1st place! Three students ranked in the Top 10 in the team's bracket- Kaden Allison, Alicia Lopez-Gonzalez and Sahara Bryant. In addition, Kaden and Alicia placed in the Top 10 nationally! Congratulations to the these amazing students and the whole team of readers!

  • Relay for Life 2019: T-shirt Orders

    On Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, our community will once again host our annual “Relay for Life” event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. In honor of this, we are hoping all of you will join us. We are encouraging everyone to wear a shirt to show your support to those whose lives have been forever changed due to this devastating disease. The profits from the sales of this shirt will be added to the “Relay for Life” donations to The American Cancer Society. The shirt will be a short sleeve white t-shirt with "Relay for Life 2019" on the front and "100% Hays, 100% Hope" on the back. The cost of each shirt is $10. Sizes are either youth or regular adult men’s t-shirt sizes. To order a shirt, please click the headline above!

  • POSTPONED: Barton Middle School Spanish Spelling Bee

    Due to the busy nature of the spring semester, the Middle School Spanish Spelling Bee originally scheduled for Saturday March 9 has been POSTPONED until the fall. Additional information will be sent to middle school students before the end of this school year to help gear up for the competition in the 2019-2020 school year.     Barton Middle School along with ZAXBY'S is hosting our first annual 5k/1k benefiting AUSTIN ANGELS. We hope to make this race one of the biggest in the For the Love of Go series!! Peace, Love, Bobcats! April 13, 2019.

  • Coffee with a Cop - February 5th

    Please join us in the BMS Library @ 7:30 AM on February 5th for coffee, juice, and delicious breakfast treats! This event is sponsored by the Barton PTA and gives our school community a chance to get to know some of our wonderful School Resource Officers/ Sheriff's Deputies. Come enjoy the breakfast, ask questions, and get to know our local law enforcement. See you there!
