School buildings and other facilities are available for rental to groups that wish to conduct activities which promote, stimulate and foster the interest of students and the community, as well as activities which promote the efficiency of the school district, so long as such activities do not conflict with school programs and community expectations for district schools or the joint use agreement that exists with the City of Kyle and City of Buda. Programs serving district students will be given priority for use.
Current Board policy GKD (Legal) and (Local) shall govern all non-school use of facilities.
Please note that as of March 1, 2024, Hays CISD will be utilizing Event Manager to process all facility use requests. Event Manager is an online facility management platform that streamlines facility scheduling and the rental request process.
