The Hays Consolidated Independent School District is committed to the highest possible standards of ethical, moral and legal business conduct. In line with this commitment, the District has established an anonymous reporting hotline.
The hotline is operated by Lighthouse, a third party provider. The hotline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, for use by employees, or the general public who wish to report suspected fraud anonymously.
All reports are confidential and the employee’s identity will remain anonymous.
Hays CISD board policy CAA (Local) governs the district's prohibition of fraud and financial impropriety, as defined below, in the actions of its Trustees, employees, vendors, contractors, consultants, volunteers, and others seeking or maintaining a business relationship with the District.
Fraud and financial impropriety shall include but not be limited to:- Forgery or unauthorized alteration of any document or account belonging to the District.
