Hays CISD uses standardized school supply lists based on grade levels for elementary school.  The lists are downloadable and printable on single-sheet PDFs.

Some PTA organizations may have prepackaged school supply options for parents that may vary slightly from the standardized list.  Parents are only expected to purchase items listed on the Hays CISD school supply list.

Listed below are links to the general school supply list for all students attending Hays CISD elementary schools. * Please note: a few items on the list may need to be replenished mid-school year. Personal belongings should always be labeled.

Secondary schools (middle and high school) do not have standardized lists.  Individual classroom teachers will communicate supplies needed for each specific class. To be prepared for the first day, we encourage students to come to school with basic school supplies (pencil, pen, paper, etc.).
