School buildings, the district's Performing Arts Center, athletics venues, meeting spaces, and other facilities are available for rental to outside groups in certain circumstances, so long as such activities do not conflict with school programs and community expectations for the use of district facilities. Programs serving district students are given priority.

The district's facility rental program is managed by the district's Safety and Security Division. Current Board policy GKD (Legal) and (Local) governs all non-school use of facilities. Unless otherwise contracted, access to rented buildings or areas is limited to 30-minutes before and 30-minutes after the rental time.
