It is an honor to be part of the Wallace Middle School family and to work alongside our dedicated teachers and exceptional students. I bring 17 years of experience in education, with 16 of those years proudly spent within Hays CISD. Since 2019, I have had the privilege of serving the Wallace community, and my previous roles in the district include science teacher and athletic coach.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Texas State University. My daily goal is to help foster a safe, supportive, and high-quality learning environment for all students and staff.
I am deeply committed to education, and I believe that a strong work ethic, integrity, passion, and perseverance have been the cornerstones of my journey—and will continue to guide me in leadership.

Joining the Laura B. Wallace Middle School family is an exciting opportunity, and I look forward to serving our students, staff, families, and community. Building relationships has always been at the heart of my work, and I am excited to continue supporting the great things already happening at Wallace.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to serve students as a teacher, coach, instructional leader, and campus administrator at the elementary, high school, and now middle school levels. While my administrative experience has spanned multiple grade levels, my educational journey began in middle school as a social studies teacher, coach, and instructional leader. It was during those years that I discovered my passion for helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
One of the perspectives I bring is the opportunity to see a student's educational journey from beginning to end. My experience in elementary education has shown me the skills and foundation students need before they enter middle school. My work in high school has given me a clear understanding of what students need to be successful after they leave middle school. Now, I have the opportunity to help guide students through one of the most important stages of their educational journey. I believe middle school is where students begin to discover who they are, develop confidence, and build the academic and life skills that prepare them for high school and beyond.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Bilingual Education and my master's degree in Educational Policy Studies with a concentration in Social Justice from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
As an assistant principal, my goal is simple: to be present, build relationships, listen, and support others. I want every student who walks through our doors to know they are valued, supported, and capable of achieving great things. I want every staff member to feel appreciated, and every family to know we are partners in helping their child grow and succeed. I look forward to working alongside the Wallace community as we continue building on the traditions and success of our school.
