I've been passionate about education for over 16 years and have gained valuable experience in teaching and educational leadership.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with Bilingual Education Certification earned in 2008, as well as a Master of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a focus on Social Justice in Education obtained in 2012. These academic achievements reflect my understanding of the educational landscape.

Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Principal at Lehman High School-Lobo Nation (2019 to 2024) and at Uhland Elementary School-Roo Nation (2018 to 2019). Furthermore, I have served as a Hays CISD summer school administrator for the past five years, at the elementary and high school level.

Prior to my role as an administrator, I loved teaching social studies to all three grade levels at the middle school level. Alongside my administrative role, I've also worked as an Educational Consultant.

My educational philosophy is encompassed by setting high expectations for all students and guiding them to reach their academic potential. Open communication with parents is absolutely key to student success. With all stakeholders invested, we can create a learning environment that allows for students to advance and also have a real love for learning. I am overwhelmed with excitement to be back in the Roo Nation community! Together we can achieve great things.
