Dear Tobias Families,
I am beyond excited to be your child’s principal and am grateful for the opportunity to build strong connections with our amazing students, families, and staff this school year. At Tobias, our motto is simple but powerful: "Work hard. Be kind. Explore!" This is more than just words on a wall—it’s the heart of who we are and how we approach every day. Together, we strive to build a community where each child is empowered to learn, grow, and explore their full potential.
I am an educator with 20+ years of experience across multiple grade levels and roles, including special education. I am grateful to serve and believe that education is the key to unlocking limitless opportunities. My passion for teaching is rooted in creating a supportive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. While I cherish being a teacher and principal, my greatest role is being Mom to 3 Hays CISD students. My goal at Tobias is to build a strong school-home partnership and ensure your students leave our campus truly prepared for the next stage in their journey. In other words, what I want for my kids- I want for your kids.
At Tobias, we know that we are stronger together. Our PTA is a shining example of what makes Tobias such a special place. With the highest membership in HaysCISD, our PTA has earned the prestigious PTA President's Award for ensuring there is a member representing every student on our campus. Their motto, "One voice for every child," is a testament to their commitment to building a strong, united community. The PTA’s involvement exemplifies the heart of what makes Tobias the place to be—a campus where every child’s voice is heard, every family is welcomed, and every student is celebrated.
