Pfluger Families,

My name is Amiee Oliphant, and I am honored to serve as your Assistant Principal at Pfluger Elementary School. I am excited to partner with our staff, students, and families to ensure every child feels supported, challenged, and successful. Building strong relationships and maintaining a student-centered focus has always been at the heart of my work, and I look forward to continuing that commitment in this role.

This year marks my 16th year in education. I began my career in Hays CISD as an elementary teacher, where I developed a deep passion for helping students grow both academically and socially. I firmly believe that when we support high-quality teaching and learning, our students are the ones who grow, succeed, and reach their fullest potential.

I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas State University and recently completed my principal certification through Lamar University. These experiences helped shape my belief that every student deserves access to meaningful learning experiences and a school environment where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.

I have proudly called Hays CISD home for the past 15 years, and I love being part of this community. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two daughters. You can usually find us at dance recitals, soccer games, or gymnastics events, or spending time outdoors together. I believe schools are strongest when they feel like family, and I value the partnerships we build with our students and families.

As your Assistant Principal, my goal is to be visible, supportive, and solution-oriented. I believe in working collaboratively with teachers and families, approaching challenges with a growth mindset, and creating a safe, positive environment where students can thrive. I am committed to supporting both the academic success and the character development of every student we serve.

I am truly excited about the work ahead and look forward to building strong connections with each of you. Together, I know we will make it an amazing year for our students!
