Dear Tiger Community,
Welcome back to another exciting year, I am thrilled to begin my 4th year as Assistant Principal at McCormick Middle School. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sociology, and Master of Educational Leadership. With over 23 years of experience in education, I firmly believe that building relationships with both students and parents can pave the way for a successful education. By working together, we can make sure every child’s academic, social, and emotional needs are met.
As we start the 2025-2026 school year, I would like to encourage all parents to have a growth mindset and remember that we are all in this together. Watching your children grow from young impressionable 6th graders to strong well-rounded young adults in 8th grade is not only exciting but rewarding. I am here to support attendance, academics, and social emotional learning; to bridge our students from not only leaders on campus to engaged learners in our community.
I am a proud member of the Hays CISD community where I reside with my husband and two boys. We live and breathe soccer in our home and feel that participating in activities inside and outside of school help foster a well rounded sense of self.
