My name is Daniela Echeverria, and I’m excited to be the school counselor at Kyle Elementary! I was born & raised in Laredo, Texas, but I fell in love with the Central Texas area after attending Texas State University. After graduating in 2015, I began my career in education at Hays CISD. I am proud to have spent the last 10+ years as an upper elementary teacher here at KES. Kyle is a special community, and I look forward to continuing our meaningful work together.

My role as a school counselor is to provide students in Pre-K through 5th grade with a supportive environment where they can establish academic achievement, career development, and social emotional skills in order to achieve a lifetime of success. Kyle Elementary also utilizes Leader in Me which is designed to teach students leadership and life skills based on the 7 Habits.

I am here to support all students and their families by offering classroom guidance lessons (twice per month) as well as short term individual and/or small group counseling (as needed with parent permission).
