Dear Hemphill Elementary Community,

I'm very excited to be the Assistant Principal here at Hemphill, this school has a rich history and to be able to be a part of it is an honor!

I've been in Hays CISD my whole career, with the first 11 years working at Camino Real as a classroom teacher. In that position I served in other roles such as team lead, GT liaison, and was able to serve on the district math team as well. In those 11 years I found that my main desire as an educator was for students to grow in their love for learning.

As an administrator my goal remains the same, and now it'll expand to be able to support staff and families in the effort of helping ALL students succeed. It is a privilege to do this work at Hemphill Elementary and even more so to be able to call it home.
