Ms. Crawford brings a wealth of experience and passion for student success to Fuentes Elementary. She joined the Fuentes community from Austin ISD, where she spent the early part of her career developing a deep understanding of elementary education. She began her journey in the classroom teaching first and third grades, where she discovered her passion for literacy and laid the foundation for her future work in reading instruction and intervention.

Her dedication to literacy and student achievement led her to pursue advanced roles, including Reading Specialist, Language Arts Instructional Coach, and Dyslexia Therapist. Through these positions, she supported both students and teachers, sharing her expertise and building capacity across campuses. As a lifelong learner, Ms. Crawford continued her educational journey and earned a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Texas State University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. Her academic and professional background led her to school leadership, where she now proudly serves as Assistant Principal.

Ms. Crawford is thrilled to be part of the Hays CISD family and especially proud to serve the Fuentes Elementary community. She is deeply committed to creating a learning environment where every child is supported, challenged, and celebrated. With a strong belief in collaboration and community, she looks forward to building lasting relationships with staff, students, and families. Ms. Crawford is honored to help lead Fuentes Elementary!
