Welcome to Carpenter Hill Elementary—where every child is empowered to learn, lead, and grow.

My name is Ginger Bordeau, and it is my absolute joy and honor to serve as the principal of this amazing school. At Carpenter Hill, we believe every child has genius, every voice matters, and that all students can learn and lead when they are supported, challenged, and celebrated. As a proud Leader in Me campus, we use the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People as a foundation for developing the whole child. From Be Proactive to Sharpen the Saw, these habits help our students grow not only as learners, but as kind, capable, and confident leaders. We believe leadership is not a title—it’s a mindset, and we nurture that mindset in every classroom, every day. Our classrooms are filled with energy, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Our teachers are passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces where students are encouraged to set goals, take ownership of their learning, and find their voice. We work as a team—staff, students, and families—to help every Colt become life-ready and future-focused. Family and community partnerships are at the heart of what makes Carpenter Hill so special. When we synergize and work together, our students thrive. Whether it’s through our PTA, volunteering, or simply staying connected, your involvement truly makes a difference. Thank you for being part of our Carpenter Hill family. I look forward to an incredible journey ahead—filled with growth, leadership, and lots of Colt pride!
