Two positions on the Board of Trustees are scheduled for election in 2019 - Single Member District 4 and Single Member District 5.
Election Day is May, 4, 2019
Election results will be posted on this page after polls close on May 4, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., and as the district receives them from the Hays County Elections Office

Important Information for City of Kyle Voters

The City of Kyle is required to have a special election to fill a vacant city council seat in May 2019, on the same day as the school district election. Please note that if you are eligible to vote in both the Hays CISD Single-Member-District 5 and the City of Kyle elections, you will need to cast ballots on separate machines and potentially at different locations. Hays CISD Single-Member-District 4 voters are not affected.
Early Voting for Hays CISD District 5 and City of Kyle Voters
- The school district and city will share an early voting location at the Hays CISD Central Office (21003 IH 35, Kyle, Texas). Hays CISD Single-Member-District 5 voters who are also City of Kyle voters will be able to cast ballots for the school district and city elections in this same location during early voting. Ballots for both elections may not be available at other early voting locations.
Election Day for Hays CISD District 5 and City of Kyle Voters
- All Hays CISD Single-Member-District 5 voters must cast their school district ballots on Election Day at Wallace Middle School (1500 West Center Street, Kyle, Texas).
- On Election Day, the school district and city will share the Wallace Middle School voting location, which means Hays CISD Single-Member-District 5 voters, who are also City of Kyle voters eligible to vote at Wallace Middle School on Election Day, will be able to cast ballots in this same location.
- Hays CISD Single-Member-District 5 voters, who are also City of Kyle voters but not eligible to vote at Wallace Middle School on Election Day, will need to vote in separate locations for the school district and city elections on Election Day.
