The Hays CISD Student Programs Department primarily coordinates athletics and fine arts activities, manages extracurricular program needs, and ensures compliance with University Interscholastic League (UIL) requirements.

Hays CISD uses an electronic ticketing system for fine arts and athletic events:
* All Hays CISD students gain free entry to all Hays CISD athletic events with their student IDs. All elementary students accompanied by a parent gain free entry with a paid parent ticket or pass.
