Dawn Baker, RN and Pam Jordan, LVN

  • Hello all,

My name is Dawn Baker and I am so fortunate to be the Johnson High school nurse.  For those of you who don't know me I will give you a little history. I was born and raised in Massachusetts and moved to Texas about 11 years ago.   I have been a nurse for 20+ years in all kinds of nursing, my most recent was high risk labor and delivery in a Boston Hospital.I have been working for HAYS CISD for the last few years as a substitute nurse and this will be my fifth year full time with the district.  I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to work at a brand new high school with an amazing staff that encourages growth.

I have two children, a husband and a dog.  Family is where it is at for me, and where I can usually be found.

I am really excited about this opportunity to work at JHS and help our teens navigate the next few years of their life.

Please feel free to reach out to me with questions and or concerns any time.

Looking forward to a great year!  In the famous words of our fearless leader here at JHS- BIA BABY!!!!!

    Hello Johnson Jags!

My name is Pam Jordan, LVN and I am new to the Jag family this year! My family and I have lived and worked in the Hays community for about 16 years.  I have two boys....Bayler is a senior at Trinity University in San Antonio and Case has graduated from right here at JHS!  I love watching my boys play sports, I love to go camping, kayaking, hiking and just spending quality time with my friends and family.

I have been a nurse for many years, the majority of it spent in pediatrics, my love.  Most recently, I worked for a local Pediatrician and am so excited to see students that were my patients!  Although this year has looked different in many ways, I am so fortunate to have been welcomed with open arms by the wonderful staff here and I look forward to a great year with your kiddos.
