Barbara Wells, RN
My name is Barbara Wells, RN and I have been a school nurse at Impact Center for 12 years. I am originally from Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Mt. Carmel Hospital School of Nursing. I worked at Columbus Childrens Hospital, St. Ann Hospital For Women, and Mount Carmel Hospital while I was in Ohio. After moving to Texas I worked as night supervisor at Texas Childrens Hospital, covering all pediatric and infant units. I retired from Texas Childrens and when I decided I wanted to go back to work I chose school nursing. I worked for Alief School District for 6 years before moving to Hays County. I moved here to be near my daughter and her family. I have 2 granddaughters, one a sophomore at DSHS and my older one just left for University of Alabama.
