After 20 years of experience teaching Business, Finance, and Computer Applications courses, I began at Hays CISD in August of 2017 as the district's first Career and Technology Education (CTE) Instructional Coach. My teaching experience includes 15 years at the secondary level teaching a myriad of Business Education courses, 2 years as a Business Information Systems instructor at the community college level, and 3 years teaching Management, Accounting and Finance at the university level.

As a CTE Instructional Coach, I have the opportunity to work with teachers in a variety of different content areas on each of our high school campuses. I may work with Cosmetology, Welding, Biomedical Science, and Engineering teachers one day and spend the next day with Graphic Design, Criminal Justice, Culinary, and Marketing teachers. No two days are the same.
