Hello! I am excited to continue on my journey with Hays CISD as a culinary arts teacher at Lehman High School. A hill country native, I grew up down the road in Dripping Springs and earned my B.A. and M.A. in Communication Studies from Texas State University (where I also competed for the Women's Basketball team!). Prior to Hays CISD, I worked in Houston at the high school and collegiate levels as a communications teacher, and coach of basketball, volleyball, and track.

At LHS, whether we are in the classroom, the kitchen, or the garden outside, I always encourage my students to push their boundaries, striving to improve on their best. Outside of school, I enjoy gardening, cooking, painting, and exploring the outdoors with my husband and our two awesome dogs, Basil and Pippa.
