Dear Parents,
I am really excited about the Sport Stacking unit we are currently doing in PE. Sport Stacking is an exciting sport where students stack and unstack 12-specially designed cups (Speed Stacks). Sport Stacking uses both sides of the body and brain developing important athletic and academic skills.
One of my goals, as a Physical Educator, is to promote activity at home through positive alternatives to computer, television and video game screen time. I believe that Sport Stacking is a unique, fun and simple activity that motivates kids to get up and move. Read for more information.

Me emociona comunicarles sobre el Deporte de Apilar Vasos, que estamos practicando en la clase de Educación Física últimamente. Apilar Vasos es un deporte emocionante donde los alumnos apilan y desapilan 12 vasos especialmente diseñados (llamados Speed Stacks). Este deporte de Apilar Vasos usa ambos lados del cuerpo y del cerebro desarrollando habilidades atléticas y académicas muy importantes.
Una de las metas, como Educador Físico, es promover la actividad en casa a través de opciones alternativas más positivas en vez del tiempo “pantalla” con la computadora, televisión y videojuegos. Yo pienso que el deporte de Apilar Vasos es una actividad única, sencilla y divertida, que promueve y motiva que los niños que se levanten y se muevan. Continúe leyendo para obtener más información.

Applications for free or reduced price meals will be mailed out to all families each year. A self-addressed, stamped envelope will be provided for the return of the application form. More Supplies!
Once again, our friend Drey Lord came through for us by collecting donations and purchasing much-needed items for our school. Through his efforts, loads of cleaning wipes, pencils, tissues, plastic baggies, and other school supplies were given to CRES. Thank you to donors from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and Amy Lord Homes–Fathom Realty.

Students who participate in services designed for gifted/talented students will demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication. These skills are often evidenced by the development of innovative products and performances that reflect individuality and creativity.
