    This bond development process began in June 2019 when the Board charged the Facilities and Bond Oversight Committee (FBOC), in accordance with policy CCA (Local) and the committee charter, with developing recommendations to present to the Board regarding the potential need for a bond election. The FBOC, which consists of a mix of citizens appointed by the Board and non-voting individuals invited by administration, studied district growth; facility and other needs identified by administration or committee members; and related financial considerations. The FBOC presented its finding to the Board in December 2019. The Board then conducted public community forums in January 2020, regarding holding a bond election. On Febuary 2, 2020, the Board adopted an election order for a bond. However, becaues of the COVID-19 pandemic, the May 2020 election was delayed and the 2020 bond was eventually canceled on August 17, 2020. The 2021 Bond builds on the work of the 2020 Bond plans. This page includes a complete archive of the process.

  • August 17, 2020 - Board Meeting Canceling the 2020 Bond

    On Monday, August 17, 2020, the Board of Trustees adopted an order cancelling the 2020 bond election because of the uncertainties of the COVID pandemic and its ultimate affects on the needs of the district.

  • March 30, 2020 - Special Board Meeting for Bond

    On Monday, March 30, 2020, during a special board meeting, the Board of Trustees adopted an order postponing the 2020 Bond election from May 2, 2020, to the uniform election date on November 3, 2020.
