We are getting closer and closer to our Inaugural Bobcat Bonanza on April 1st. The latest date to register for the race and ensure a t-shirt is March 24th. The 5k will begin at 7:30 at The Fellowship Church at Plum Creek and all races end around 9:00. Starting at 9:00 we will transition to the Carnival part of the event being held outside at BMS. The booths for the carnival will be staffed by BMS staff and students. The entire community is welcome to attend and if you would like to share the information below on your social media it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to a great event and seeing our Bobcat families.

Race will raise funds to replace the wooden marquee at Barton Middle School.
After the race (9-12), Barton will be hosting a festival with tons of fun. Tickets will be on sale, on site. There will be axe throwing, concessions, cake walk, fishing pond, pop a shot and a lot more!! You don't have to race to join in on the fun! BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY!! Tickets will be 50 cents each. $10 will get you through most of the vendors.

Castillo Named Lehman Athletic Coordinator & Head Football Coach
Hays CISD Superintendent Dr. Eric Wright announced Monday, Feb 13, 2023, that Christopher Castillo will serve as the new Lehman High School athletic coordinator and head football coach. At its meeting on Monday, the Hays CISD Board of Trustees approved the hiring decision. Castillo is an accomplished educator and coach with nearly two decades of experience. Hays CISD Gifted and Talented Referral Period Opens for Kindergarten - 11th Grade Students
Hays CISD campuses will accept referrals for gifted and talented services from November 1 – 30, 2022. Referrals can be made in two different ways. The first option is to complete an online referral. The second option is to complete a paper referral.
