Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! What an exciting year we have ahead of us! In addition to differentiated instruction, our Gifted and Talented students will also have the opportunity to showcase their efforts at an end-of-year showcase event. This is sure to be a special night as we welcome the families of our G/T students to come view the yearlong project we will be working on in our IDEAS Club.

At Simon, teachers are trained to use Depth and Complexity, which helps support our G/T students to deepen their comprehension and understanding across all content areas.

“The Depth and Complexity Icons are visual prompts designed to help students go beyond surface level understanding of a concept and enhance their ability to think critically.
