2020 School Board Election

  • Three positions on the Board of Trustees were scheduled for election in May 2020 - Single Member District 1, Single Member District 2, and one At-Large Position. Because the candidates were unopposed when all filing deadlines passed, the Board was able to cancel the election and declare the candidates unopposed and elected.

    The filing period for applications for a place on the ballot closed Friday, February 14, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.

    The filing period for a declaration of a write-in candidacy closed Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

2020 Bond Election

  • On Monday, March 30, 2020, during a special board meeting, the Board of Trustees adopted an order postponing the 2020 Bond election from May 2, 2020, to the uniform election date on November 3, 2020.

Voting & Hays CISD Interactive Election Map

  • link to election map The election will take place in Hays CISD. Specific polling locations and times depend on the county in which the voter resides. These dates and times are listed in the election order and notice (below), and on the Hays CISD interactive election map

    Hays and Travis Counties use vote centers, meaning Hays and Travis County voters may cast ballots for any election in which they are eligible at any vote center in the respective counties during the times the vote centers are operating. Caldwell County will have a specific polling location for early and election day voting.
