   I am so happy to be in my 16th year at Buda Elementary as school counselor. I taught in the elementary classroom, primarily in Kindergarten, before becoming a counselor. I have a private counseling license and a real estate sales license. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from Howard Payne University and obtained my Master’s degree from Tarleton State. 
   I have three grown children, an amazing daughter-in-law, a precious granddaughter, a fur baby named Sam, and four fur grandbabies. I live in South Austin and enjoy cooking, road trips, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family. I belong to Hays Hills Baptist Church. 
   As a counselor, I provide classroom guidance lessons and meetings. I assist individual students by providing support to facilitate emotional well-being and academic success.
