I am very excited to start my 4^th year at McCormick Middle School as an Assistant Principal. I look forward to working with Administration to support all teachers, staff, parents, and members of the Hays CISD community. This is a great campus where we can empower all our students to achieve the highest levels of academic and personal success.

I am beginning my 13^th year in education. I have worked as a High School Criminal Justice Teacher and an Assistant Principal at both the High School and Middle School level. I have also worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor, serving both juveniles and adults in Laredo, TX and as an Investigator with Child Protective Services. I have gained a wealth of knowledge over my professional career that has allowed me to best serve all students. 

My vision is that all students deserve an education at the highest academic level, and the choice to attend college, join the military, or enter the workforce with certifications to ensure their success. This effort involves teachers, parents and the community; which I know McCormick Middle School is fully invested in.
