FINANCIAL AID
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) opens October 1st of your senior year. It is important to complete this early as many colleges/universities begin to award financial aid once students are accepted. You will need to check with the school's website for specifics.

SAT/ACT Tests
The December SAT/ACT should be the latest date seniors take the exam. The College Board and Khan Academy are great online resources for last minute tutorials.

PSAT
The PSAT is a practice test that prepares students for success on the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test). Additional information for students and parents, along with a practice test for students, can be found at https://www.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt. Additionally, Juniors who do very well on the PSAT may qualify for the NMSQT Scholarship Competition.
