I'm happy to be back for another year here at Science Hall. I live in the Kyle area and have 4 children of my own along with 2 fur babies. My favorite hobbies I enjoy are crafting, going to the movies, gardening and painting classes in my down time. I look forward to another successful year.
Please keep your student home if they are showing s/s of illness (fever 100 or above, vomiting and diarrhea) and can return when symptom free for 24hrs without the use of any medications.
News from the Nurse
-
Please do not send medications to school with students to have in their belongings for them to take during the school day. Medications will be needed to be brought to nurse to keep in clinic for safety. We will need documentation from parent and physician before medication can be administered/stored on campus.
Health screenings: Screenings are required by Texas state law. We will be having campus vision and hearing screens for PreK, Kinder, 1st, 3rd and 5th. We will also be screening for Acanthosis Nigricans in all 1st,3rd and 5th graders same day.
As a friendly reminder, please send your student(s) with an extra change of clothing for any possible accidents that may occur during the school day in order to avoid interrupting classroom time.
