    Hello, Amazing Roo Families!

    My name is Javier H. González.  I am very honored and proud to serve the Uhland community as an assistant principal.  I am looking forward to working hard and doing everything I can to support the needs of all our students and staff.

    I have worked in public education for the last 7 years as a bilingual teacher and instructional coach.  Prior to working in education, I was a Pharmacy Technician and I served in the Air Force for 6 years. I have always been driven by a need to serve others and education is my calling.  I am driven to serve the students, staff, and parents of Uhland. I am excited to help provide our students with a top-notch education and build their confidence so they can take on any challenge and succeed.

    Thank you for your support and I am looking forward to beginning my journey as an instructional leader with this amazing group of students, parents, and staff.

    Hola estimados padres de Roo Nation!

    Me llamo Javier H. González. Estoy muy honrado y orgulloso de servir a la comunidad de Uhland como subdirector. Tengo muchas ganas de trabajar duro y hacer todo lo posible para apoyar las necesidades de todos nuestros estudiantes y personal.

    He trabajado en educación pública durante los últimos 7 años como maestro bilingüe y entrenador de instrucción. Antes de trabajar en educación, era técnico de farmacia y serví en la Fuerza Aérea durante 6 años. Siempre me ha impulsado la necesidad de servir a los demás y la educación es mi vocación. Me siento impulsado a servir a los estudiantes, el personal y los padres de Uhland. Estoy emocionado de ayudar a proporcionar a nuestros estudiantes una educación de primer nivel y desarrollar su confianza para que puedan asumir cualquier desafío y tener éxito.

    Hello Amazing Roo Community and Families!
     
    My name is Randy Klima and I am super excited to join the Uhland team as assistant principal. More importantly, I am looking forward to serving the students, teachers, staff, and parents in the Uhland community.

    This is my sixteenth year in education, beginning at Chapa Middle School as a social studies teacher and coach. In 2019, I became assistant principal at Science Hall Elementary. The experience there allows me to connect with parents and students in the same community and feeder pattern for Chapa Middle School and Lehman High School. Prior to education, I served in the United States Army for four years and had the opportunity to travel the world.

    I have always considered myself a public servant and work hard to help build positive citizens in our community. I appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve the Uhland community and do my part to make the world a better place by helping students achieve success.

    Mi nombre es Randy Klima y estoy muy emocionado de unirme al equipo de Uhland como subdirector. Más importante aún, espero servir a los estudiantes, maestros, personal y padres de la comunidad de Uhland.

    Este es mi decimosexto año en educación, comenzando en la Escuela Secundaria Chapa como maestra y entrenadora de estudios sociales. En 2019 me convertí en subdirectora de Science Hall Elementary. La experiencia allí permitió conectarse con padres y estudiantes en la misma comunidad y patrón de alimentación para Chapa Middle School y Lehman High School. Antes de la educación, serví en el Ejército de los Estados Unidos durante cuatro años y tuve la oportunidad de viajar por el mundo.

    Siempre me he considerado un servidor público y trabajo arduamente para ayudar a formar ciudadanos positivos en nuestra comunidad. Aprecio la oportunidad de continuar sirviendo a la comunidad de Uhland y hacer mi parte para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor al ayudar a los estudiantes a alcanzar el éxito.
