Dear JHS Students and Families,
The Johnson High School English Department will not be requiring a summer reading assignment for 2022. We hope to be more equitable to all students, returning and newly enrolled, by beginning instruction on the first day of school. We look forward to everyone returning rested and ready for the new school year.
As always, English teachers encourage all students to continue reading over the summer. For those students who want to build their reading repertoire to support the AP Literature and Composition exam, please select titles from this list. Students taking AP Language and Composition should read non-fiction articles, journals, speeches, and essays.
Enjoy your summer,
JHS English Department
