DISTRICT NEWS

  • Hays CISD Expands Pre-K to Full Day and Increases the Number of Locations

Hays CISD is excited to announce the district is expanding its Pre-K program to offer you and your child more! Beginning in August for the 2019-2020 school year the district will move from half-day to full-day Pre-K. Additionally, the district will increase the number of Pre-K service locations from seven to ten, so that more students can attend Pre-K at their home elementary campuses. Pre-K is an outstanding way to help your child prepare for kindergarten. If your child lives in any Hays CISD elementary school attendance zone and meets the federal guidelines to qualify for Pre-K, you can enroll your child for free.
