My wife and I moved to Buda in 2014 from the Syracuse, NY area, where I was an educational leader for seven years in an alternative school. After moving to Texas I accepted a job teaching 8th grade U.S. History in Austin ISD, where I shared my passion for all things history with my students. In 2017, I began serving as Assistant Principal of Live Oak Academy. It was truly an exciting opportunity and that excitement is still present today.

I truly believe that education is something that no one can ever take away from you, and I wish to motivate students to take advantage of every offer they have to further their education for their goals in life. Working with students that don’t fit the traditional mold is my passion and I fervently believe that all children can achieve if put in the right educational setting. It is exciting to be a part of Hays CISD as an invested member of the community. Each year I look forward to working with the students and staff at Live Oak Academy as we "Educate. Accelerate. Graduate." our way into successful futures for our students.
