High School Summer School 2022

    Summer School Location:

    • Hays High School (transportation will be provided)

    Summer School Dates:

    • June 6 - June 30, 2022
    • Summer Graduation -  (Time TBD) 

    Summer School Schedule:

    • 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Thursday (no classes on Friday)

    Participation Requirements:

    • Students must make satisfactory progress each week.
    • Refunds will not be provided after June 1st.
    • HS Summer School is only available to students who are currently enrolled in Hays CISD.

  • Course Offerings:

    • In-person Offerings:
      • Credit Recovery - for students that failed 1 or more core classes (Free)
      • Get-Ahead Advanced Math - for students that successfully completed Algebra 1 (to register for Advanced Geometry) or Geometry (to register for Advanced Algebra 2) (Full credit $200)
    • Virtual School Offerings:
      • Get-Ahead courses offered exclusively online for Hays CISD students. ($150 per semester credit) * NOTE: Virtual School calendar differs from in-person Summer School.  More info is available from campus counselors and on the Hays CISD Online Learning website
    • Discounts:
      • Students that currently qualify for free/reduced meals and/or participate in specialized programs (MKV, PEP) are eligible for a fee discount. Student eligibility for these programs will be verified.

  • Acknowledgement:

    By registering for HS Summer School, parents and students agree to abide by the policies and rules of the Hays CISD Parent/Student Handbook. Students who are dismissed from summer school are not entitled to nor will they receive a refund.  No refunds will be made after classes have started. Refunds granted before the start of classes will take 4 to 6 weeks to process.
