  • All extracurricular trips/field trips will be coordinated through the Field Trip Clerk (512-268-8476 ext. 46043), housed at the Uhland Transportation Facility.

    Credential Requirements

    Driving a Suburban:
    Submit a copy of driver’s license (front and back) and a copy of district identification badge to the Director of Transportation or Designee.

    Drivers of district vehicles must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). The employee"s driving record must not exceed the 10 point system as defined by the Department of Public Safety.  Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Review

    Must possess:

    • Valid Texas Driver’s License (Class C)

    Driving a 14 passenger activity bus:

    Submit a copy of driver’s license (front and back) and a copy of the district identification badge to the Director of Transportation or Designee.

    Drivers of district vehicles must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). The employee's driving record must not exceed the 10 point system as defined by the Department of Public Safety.  Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Review

    Must possess:

    • Valid Texas Driver’s License (Class C)
    • TEA School Bus Certification card
    • DOT Medical Card

    Driving a CMV, one that is designed to carry 16 or more people:

    Submit a copy of driver’s license (front and back) and a copy of the district identification badge to the Director of Transportation or Designee.

    Drivers of district vehicles must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). The employee's driving record must not exceed the 10 point system as defined by the Department of Public Safety.  Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Review

    Must possess:

    • Class A or B CDL with P & S (passenger & school bus endorsements)
    • TEA School Bus Certification card
    • DOT Medical Card
