Hello Explorers,

I am very excited to be your student’s principal and look forward to building connections and relationships with our families this school year. Our motto at Tobias is "Work hard. Be kind. Explore!" and we strive to live up to those expectations every day. Elementary education is a wonderful time for students with so many opportunities to foster their love of learning, ignite their passions, and celebrate hitting all of our academic as well as social-emotional milestones. 

I am a passionate educator with experience as a special education teacher, 1st-grade and 3rd-grade classroom teacher, an instructional coach serving grades pK-5, and served as the former assistant principal at Tobias. Education is the pathway to anywhere, regardless of our circumstances or obstacles. I look forward to partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality school experience that sets students on a path to further success. 

All three of my children attend school in HaysCISD and am grateful for the education and dedication their teachers, staff, and administration have afforded my kids. I expect the staff, teachers, and administration at Tobias to also provide the very best education for all of our Tobias Explorers. I am grateful for the commitment, teamwork, and dedication the staff brings to Tobias every day. 

Throughout the year, exciting things happen in our classrooms and our campus!  We encourage you to join our PTA, volunteer at school activities, and take an active role in your child's education. You are the best gift you can give your child.  Elementary years are among your child's most fundamental. We will continue to strive to focus on increasing student achievement, developing students socially and emotionally, and continuing to celebrate ALL students and their growth throughout their time at Tobias.
