Dear Hawk Families,

We are excited to welcome all of our Hawk Families back for the 2022-2023 school year! I am privileged to continue to serve our Hemphill community as the Proud Principal. It is going to be another great year collaborating together!

Our theme this year is The Force Is Strong With The Hawks. As the wise Jedi Master, Yoda, says, "Learn we will, achieve goals we must." At Hemphill, we strongly believe all of our students are capable of learning and achieving their goals and together with our community, we can ensure each student's individual success. We have the BEST community of parents/guardians and students.

We are committed to ensuring that every student’s academic and social-emotional needs are met to their fullest extent. We know it will be another great year keeping our students safe, engaging our learners, and meeting our goals together. Thank you to all of our amazing Hawk families that came to our Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 11th. We enjoyed seeing familiar faces and getting the opportunity to meet our new Hawk families!
