  • Hays CISD Developing a New Elementary Attendance Zone Map

    The Attendance Boundary Rezoning Committee has been convened in Hays CISD to recommend to the Board of Trustees adjustments in the district's attendance zone maps to include the district's newest elementary school (#14). Rezoning for High School #3 will occur next fall (2018).

  • Board VP Tobias Selected for Two Prestigious Leadership Programs

    Hays Consolidated Independent School District is pleased to announce that Board of Trustees Vice President Teresa Tobias has been accepted into two respected and renowned leadership programs – the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Leadership TASB program and the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Regional Governance Policy Institute. Both programs are designed to help participants develop advanced skills that can result in improved outcomes for school districts.

  • District Seeks Names for New Schools

    The Hays Consolidated Independent School District School Naming Committee is seeking nominations for names for the district’s third high school and fourteenth elementary school. The schools, which were approved by voters in the 2017 bond, are on scheduled to open in 2018 (Elementary #14) and 2019 (High School #3). People who wish to submit name suggestions may do so electronically at: www.hayscisd.net/name, or by writing to the district at: Hays CISD Naming Hays CISD Naming Committee, 21003 IH 35, Kyle, TX 78640. Printable forms are also available on the district’s website.
