Technology Division

  • The Technology Division is comprised of the chief technology officer, directors, coordinators, specialists and technicians.

Key Department Functions

  • Network Services / Technology Infrastructure
    Local network (LAN), wireless network (WAN), storage area network (SAN), internet access, virtualization, network security, firewalls, email systems, data backups, account access to network resources for district staff and students

    Device management
    Manage mobile devices, desktop computers, laptops, printers, sound systems, projectors, point of sale (POS) systems

    Software Services
    Management and maintenance of software applications databases, dashboards, special programming, software request approval

    Administrative Support
    Tier 1 end user technical support

    Technology Workorder/Workflow Management
    Management of technology workorder system, installation/maintenance/repair of all work stations, peripherals, instructional technology tools, software, cabling and telephones

    Telecom/Unified Presence
    Telecom services which include voicemail, management and maintenance of 2200+ handsets, VM password resets, unified communications/unified presence

    Security Systems
    Keyless building access, campus/building surveillance, management & Maintenance of 700+ video cameras, accessing surveillance video as requested

    Student Information Systems (SIS)
    Manages data, system procedures and state reporting related to student information including enrollment, demographics, attendance, grades and special programs. Provides technical support and training for staff in the maintenance and reporting of student data.

    Management Information Systems (MIS)
    Employee database (includes employee data, leave balances, payroll information), maintains and submits staff PEIMS data, federal and state reporting
