Hello! I am Nicole Masten-Dear, and I am very excited for another amazing year at Johnson High School. This year I will be teaching English III, and I look forward to diving into American Literature.

This is my fourth year teaching at Johnson High School. I am a Texas State University graduate and received my BA in English with a minor in Secondary Education. I have always had a passion for reading and writing, and I come from a long line of family members of teachers! Seeing the positive impact that a teacher can have in students lives inspired and continues to inspire me in my teaching career. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling, and hiking.
