Hello! I am so happy to be at Johnson High School for the third year! I graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a B.S. in Biology and from Texas A&M with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a certification in STEM. I also completed the UTeach Natural Sciences teacher certification program for 7th-12th Grade Composite Science. This will be my 8th year teaching! I have taught 7th grade science, IPC, Chemistry and Biology.

I value making the classroom a safe and enjoyable place to learn. I try to do as many hands-on and student-centered activities as possible in the classroom. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing video games or hiking with my husband and hanging out with my three cats.
